12 New NACs To Be Announced In Rajya Sabha : In the occasion of the anniversary, the government is coming up with a plan for the people of the state. It is planned to announce the much-awaited NSC. The urban area of the state is going to increase during the Raj. More than 12 NSCs will be announced in the first phase. Let’s take a look at some of the NSCs in the list. Pallahda, Dhushuri, Thidi, Salepur, Chittara, Betnati and some other areas that are being claimed will be included in this list. After the local claim, the Urban Development Department had sent this list to the Panchayati Raj Department for the necessary approval. Now after the approval, the Chief Minister will announce the names of the NACs within a day or two, the departmental minister has informed.

Not only this, the process has also started to convert the listed NACs into municipalities. It is understood that the administration has completed preparations to convert Bhanjanagar and Polsara NACs into municipalities. However, the BJD has alleged that the new government has deliberately withheld the list announced by the old government.
Before the elections, the then BJD government had announced 57 new NACs in 23 districts. Six NACs were announced to be municipalities. But no formal process was started at the government level for this. Now, after the announcement of 12 NACs, it is expected that the way will be cleared for the announcement of other NACs.
