Mahima, a single mother to her 18-year-old daughter Aryana Chaudhary, was earlier married to businessman Bobby Mukherjee. However, the marriage could not withstand growing differences, leading the couple to separate. “Sometimes I Think About Remarriage”
Speaking candidly to Navbharat Times (NBT), Mahima addressed questions about her personal life and future.
“My divorce is still pending,” she revealed, adding, “But yes, sometimes I do think about remarriage.”
Her statement struck a chord with many, especially after her look from her upcoming film Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shaadi went viral, prompting fans and followers to speculate about her real-life views on marriage.
Faith in Marriage Still Intact
Clarifying her stance, Mahima said she has not grown bitter toward the institution of marriage. On the contrary, she continues to believe in it. According to the actress, life becomes easier and more meaningful when two people support each other.
She emphasized the importance of emotional and practical support, particularly while raising children. “Raising a child alone is not easy,” she noted, especially in today’s times when the support of a joint family system is increasingly rare.
Mahima also reflected on why marriages sometimes struggle, pointing out differences in mindset. She explained that when one partner is modern in outlook and the other is highly conservative, misunderstandings can arise. In such cases, mutual understanding and compromise are essential to move forward together.
Return to the Big Screen
On the professional front, Mahima Chaudhary is set to make her comeback to cinema after a long hiatus with the film Durlabh Prasad Ki Doosri Shaadi. The film features acclaimed actor Sanjay Mishra in the lead role alongside her.
Fans are eagerly awaiting her return, and according to reports, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on December 19, 2025.
