There will be 11 new ADJ courts in the state
8 New ADJ Courts To Be Opened In The State, The Law Department of the Odisha Government has issued a notification for the establishment of 8 new Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADJ) Courts and 3 Vigilance Courts with a view to further strengthening the judicial service in the state. This step is considered important for speeding up the process of justice delivery and speedy disposal of corruption cases.
8 New ADJ Courts To Be Opened :
As per the notification, new ADJ courts will be set up at Banki, Ranpur, Banpur, Basudevpur, Pipili, Talcher, Rajgangpur and G. Udayagiri. In addition, three new vigilance courts will be set up at Kendrapara, Nayagarh and Puri for corruption cases.
According to the notification, the process of hiring the necessary infrastructure and staff for the courts will begin soon. The plan to run these courts is being finalized in collaboration with the Orissa High Court. It is expected that this will make the justice system in the state more effective.
