On Saturday, May 3, Bollywood actress Kiara Advani shared a photo hinting that she is going to make her Met Gala debut. After Kiara, the news of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s arrival in New York has increased the excitement among fans, which has started speculation about his much-awaited debut at the world’s biggest fashion event. Meanwhile, Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh has also given his first look at the Met Gala.

This year’s Met Gala 2025 will be very special as it will see the debut of Kiara Advani, Shah Rukh Khan and Diljit Dosanjh. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has arrived in New York for the first time for this prestigious fashion event. Diljit Dosanjh Gala debut
Diljit Dosanjh is also all set to make his debut. Ahead of the prestigious event, the Punjabi singer gave fans some good news with a behind-the-scenes photo shared on social media. He confirmed that he will be making his debut at this year’s Met Gala. Last Saturday, Diljit shared a post on his Instagram story, which read, ‘For the first time.’ Today, Diljit shared another post on his Instagram story, which shows a photo of a white bathrobe with a ribbon tied around it. On Saturday, mother-to-be Kiara Advani also shared a BTS photo after arriving in New York ahead of the big night. The photo shows a table decorated with lots of colorful things – including a vase of pink roses and a cake shaped like a miniature mannequin wearing a beautiful black gown and pearl set. The photo also features a booklet with Met Steps, which has ‘The Met Gala’ written on the cover.
The Met Gala will be held on May 5, 2025, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. The theme of this year’s Met Gala is ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,’ which will explore the relationship between fashion and art culture.
The theme is linked to an upcoming exhibition of the same name at the Met Museum. As the event draws closer, all eyes are on the red carpet debuts of Shah Rukh Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit.
