Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday visited the Bhuj Air Force Station in Gujarat. Last week, the Pakistani army tried to target the airbase. Their nefarious plan was foiled by the Indian armed forces. His visit comes a day after Rajnath visited Jammu and Kashmir and reviewed the overall security situation along the Line of Control and the International Border.
After Operation Sindoor, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Bhuj Airbase and met the soldiers. Rajnath gave a strong message to Pakistan and said, Operation Sindoor is not over yet. Now only the trailer has been shown; when the time comes, he will show the full film. Along with this, the Defence Minister has highly praised the Indian Air Force.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in Bhuj, “It is no small matter that our Air Force has access to every corner of Pakistan; it has been fully proven. Today, the situation is such that Indian fighter jets are capable of attacking every corner of the country from here without crossing the border. The whole world has seen how India destroyed nine terrorist camps on Pakistani soil and, in subsequent action, destroyed many of their air force bases.”
Earlier, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh visited Jammu and Kashmir on May 15 and reviewed the security situation there. Addressing soldiers at Badami Bagh Cantonment in Srinagar, he said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has redefined India’s policy against terrorism.” Now India’s policy is that any attack on Indian soil will be treated as a war. He described Operation Sindoor as India’s biggest counter-terrorism operation so far, saying, “It was not just a defensive operation but a response taken with a bold decision. The terrorists killed our people on the basis of their religion; we punished them for their actions. This was our religion.”
India carried out targeted strikes on terror camps under Operation Sindoor on May 7. This action was taken in retaliation for the terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22. Following this, Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military posts on May 8, 9 and 10, to which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply. Several Pakistani military installations were damaged in this retaliation. These included air force posts, radar sites and command centers.
