Celebrating International Tea Day
International Tea Day: The Day Begins With A Refreshing Tea: Like every year, this year too International Tea Day is being celebrated on 21st May i.e., today. This day provides an opportunity to celebrate the cultural significance, health benefits, and economic contribution of tea. Its main objective is to make tea production sustainable “from field to cup” so that its benefits for people, cultures, and the environment continue for generations.

International Tea Day was first started in India and Sri Lanka in 2005. At that time, it was celebrated on 15 December. Its purpose was to highlight issues such as workers’ rights, wages, working conditions, and social security in the tea industry. In the year 2019, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) gave global recognition to this day and proposed to celebrate it on 21 May. 2020, for the first time, International Tea Day, recognized by the United Nations, was celebrated on 21 May. In such a situation, when International Tea Day is being celebrated today, you can congratulate your loved ones on Tea Day by sending greeting messages from here.
