RCB Crowned IPL 2025 Champions After 6-Run Win In Final: After 73 days and 74 matches of intense competition, the IPL has got a new winner. In a thrilling final, with unlimited excitement, unprecedented excitement and a twist in the clock, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) fulfilled a much-awaited unfulfilled dream by defeating Punjab Kings by 6 runs. They became the winners for the first time. After 18 years, they have earned the honor of lifting the attractive trophy of the IPL. With this, RCB has given a much-awaited victory to the veteran player and legendary star Virat Kohli, who will wear the number 18 jersey in the 18th edition.

Kohli, who won his first IPL trophy in this unique combination, also cried tears of joy. RCB has also joined the club of IPL winners like Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers, Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. On the other hand, Punjab, which played brilliant cricket throughout the league, has seen its dreams shattered after falling in the final. It is time for Punjab to lose captain Shreyas Iyer, who led Punjab to the final under strong leadership. RCB’s rise has, however, added a new chapter in IPL history.

There was an opportunity and potential for both teams at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. RCB faced a terrible disaster in the last few overs, losing 5 wickets for 45 runs, which left the team’s fans in a state of panic. But the RCB bowlers had a different plan. Punjab were in trouble after losing 4 wickets for 98 runs, trapped by spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya’s cycle. But the biggest blow to Punjab came from Romario Shepherd. Iyer, who was in excellent form, was caught for 1 run, making RCB’s victory difficult.Once Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up two wickets in an over, victory was guaranteed for RCB. Punjab were stopped at 184/7 while chasing a target of 191, thus helplessly settling for the runners-up. The streak of winning the Qualifier-1 and reaching the final continues to be unbroken since 2017. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans’ Sai Sudarshan and Pranam Krishna took home the orange and purple caps, respectively, to the tune of leading runs and most wickets in the tournament.
