NASA announces Axiom-4 mission launch date, will go to space with Dragon capsule

Axiom Mission 4: Shubhanshu  Shukla Will Go To Space Tomorrow : Axiom-4 mission will be launched tomorrow. NASA has announced a new date for this. The much-awaited Axiom-4 mission will be launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, USA, aboard the Dragon spacecraft. The launch will take place at 12:10 pm Indian time. Indian astronaut and Air Force Group Captain Subhanshu Shukla will create history by becoming the first Indian astronaut to go to the ISS.

According to sources, NASA had previously postponed the launch five times due to some reasons. This is the sixth time that NASA has set a launch date. NASA said that SpaceX has scheduled the launch of the Axiom-4 mission at 12.01 on Wednesday. The mission will fly from Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. After launching on the company’s Falcon 9 rocket, the pilot will travel in a new SpaceX Dragon spacecraft. NASA also said that it will dock with the ISS at 7 am on June 26.

Subhanshu is accompanied by American astronaut Peggy Whitson, Polish Sławsz Ujnalski and Hungarian mechanical engineer Tibor as crew members on this mission. During the 14-day mission, the astronauts will conduct global public relations events, microgravity research and technology demonstrations on the ISS. This is a joint mission of Axiom Space, SpaceX and ISRO. Rakesh Sharma traveled to space in 1984. This is Subhanshu’s second human space mission after 40 years.

It is worth noting that the launches were scheduled for June 19 and June 22. However, the ISS was suspended for operational evaluation after the Russian module was repaired. NASA has now clarified the launch date.
