Traffic Advisory Issued For Puri Rath Yatra 2025: Lakhs of devotees will gather in Puri for the world-famous Rath Yatra. In this context, the police have issued a traffic advisory on Tuesday regarding the smooth movement of vehicles and parking arrangements.

Separate routes and parking arrangements are being made for vehicles coming from different directions. However, a traffic advisory has been issued for vehicles coming from Brahmagiri, Bhubaneswar, and Konark.

Shuttle service

Three-wheelers coming from Talboniya will go to Ghoda Bazaar via Waterworks Road, Odisha Bakery and Ram Mandir and after dropping passengers from there, they will return to Talboniya via Ram Mandir, Shrikshetra Colony and Mangala Mandir. Similarly, three-wheelers coming from Maltipatpur side will go to Batgaon Chack till Khuwatnala and after dropping passengers there, they will return via the same route. Whereas, three-wheelers coming from Brahmagiri side will go to Mangalaghat till Stirling and return via the same route.

Tourist bus

  • Brahmagiri side: All tourist buses from Brahmagiri side will be allowed up to Floris India Parking and the return route will also remain the same.
  • Bhubaneswar side: All tourist buses coming from Bhubaneswar will be allowed up to Maltipatpur parking.
  • Konark side: All tourist buses from Konark side are allowed up to Swami Narayan Temple parking.

Two-wheeler

  • Brahmagiri side: Two-wheelers from Brahmagiri side will reach Matitota Playground Parking via Old Jagannath Ballav Parking, Matitota Helipad Ground and Mangalaghat. However, those who come first will be given priority and will be allowed up to Old Jagannath Ballav Parking and they will return via Mangalaghat.
  • Bhubaneswar side: Similarly, the old Jagannath Ballav parking will go through Matitota Helipad Ground and Matitota Play Ground parking, Maltipatpur, Batgaon and Mangalaghat. Those who came first from Bhubaneswar will be allowed up to the old Jagannath Ballav parking. Then, the vehicles parked at the old JBPC from there will return via Jatiyababaji Chack, Kumbarpada PS Khuttanala and Batgaon.
  • Konark side: Two-wheelers from Konark side will be allowed via Baidas Nagar, Grid Station, Helipad, Pethakta Chowk, City Road and Subhash Bose Chowk up to Blue Flag Beach and Hotel Nilachal Ashok Parking. These two-wheelers will return on the same road. But no vehicle will be allowed to use ROB Road from Baidas Nagar Chowk.

Light motor vehicle

  • Brahmagiri Side: All light motor vehicles coming to Brahmagiri will proceed from Mangalaghat Chowk to Sterling Chowk and park their vehicles in the designated vehicle parking area (Sterling Parking) there and exit via the same route.
  • Bhubaneswar side: All light motor vehicles coming from Bhubaneswar will proceed to the designated parking point on Talboniya side via Maltipatpur Bridge, Baidas Nagar Chowk, Grid Station Chowk. On Talboniya side, they will park their vehicles at Vidhansa Aastha Bhavan, Industrial Training Centre, Helipad, Indoor Stadium, Horticulture Institute respectively. From there, they will proceed to Bhubaneswar via PKRIT Chowk, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bhudan Chowk, Grid Station Bhudan Chowk, Balighat Bhudan Chowk, Samangara Gram and Batgaon Bhudan Chowk.
  • Konark side: All light motor vehicles coming from Konark will proceed via Baidas Nagar Chack, Grid Station and Talboniya to the designated vehicle parking area. At Talboniya, they will park their vehicles at the Vidhansabha Guest House, Industrial Training Centre, Helipad, Indoor Stadium, Horticulture Area and Fresh Fish Market respectively. The return route from there will also be the same.
