This is the last warship that India has built on foreign land. If we talk about the future, then all the warships will be built in the country itself. Let us tell you that INS Tamal will be commissioned in the presence of Vice Admiral Sanjay J. Singh, Chief of the Western Naval Command. Many defense officials from India and Russia will be present on this occasion.
What is the strength of INS Tamal?
Now, if we talk about the strength of INS Tamal, then Tamal is not just a warship but a deadly warrior deployed in the sea. It is named after the mythical sword of Lord Indra, and its firepower is also as fast, aggressive, and decisive as that. This stealth frigate is equipped with the latest weapons and advanced technology, which makes it a sea hunter for the enemy. Its biggest strength is the Brahmos supersonic missile, which can destroy a target sitting far away on land and sea in a few seconds.

It is also more capable in terms of security, and the new generation vertical launch surface-to-air missiles deployed on the ship provide it with complete protection from air attacks. At the same time, anti-submarine rockets and torpedoes are capable of eliminating any submarine threat. At the same time, the powerful 100 mm cannon and 30 mm Close-in Weapon System (CIWS) are capable of giving a quick and accurate response to nearby threats. Also, the sonar system and state-of-the-art radars present on the ship keep a close watch on every activity.
Not only this, the power of Tamal does not end here. Multi-role helicopters can take off from their deck, which increases their scope manifold in both surveillance and attack from the air. With all these features, INS Tamal will give new heights to the strategic power of the Indian Navy and will make India’s presence at sea even more aggressive, accurate, and reliable.
The symbol
The Symbol of this ship is a bear, which is a combination of the Indian mythological character Jambavan and Russia’s national animal Eurasian Brown Bear. The motto of the ship is .. Sarvada Sarvatra Vijay, i.e., to win by defeating the enemies at all times and everywhere. It is worth noting that INS Tamal will now become a part of the Indian Navy’s Western Fleet, i.e., Sword Arm, and will further strengthen India’s maritime power. This warship is a great example of India-Russia friendship and the Self-Reliant India campaign.
