Tulsi was about to be made 11 years ago
Smriti Irani recently revealed in a conversation with Karan Johar and Barkha Dutt that Smriti got this show in 2014 itself. She said, “If you look at ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, the most secret thing about it was that I got a contract to do it again in 2014, but I distanced myself from it, because I had to work as a cabinet minister in the Indian Parliament. The set was ready, but a call came from the Prime Minister’s Office that you have to take the oath.”
