Plane Crashed After Take-Off At London Airport: According to reports, a small commercial jet crashed while taking off from London Southend Airport at 4:00 pm on Sunday, sending black smoke billowing into the sky and causing panic among passengers. People saw a ‘huge fireball’ at the scene, with black smoke coming out of it. The plane has been identified as a B200 Super King Air, which was to fly to Lelystad in the Netherlands. According to flight data from Flightradar, the plane crashed shortly after taking off from the runway. It is currently unclear how many people were on board the plane at the time of the incident.

People present near the airport reported that a huge explosion was followed by a huge fire and a thick cloud of smoke. Videos of the incident are going viral on social media. In a statement carried by Sky News, Essex Police said: “We were called to reports of a 12-metre long aircraft collision shortly before 4 pm… We are working closely with all emergency services at the scene, and this work will continue for several hours.”
Local MP David Burton-Sampson, who represents Southend West and Leigh, expressed concern over the incident, posting on social media: “I am aware of the incident at Southend Airport. Please stay away and allow the emergency services to do their work. My thoughts are with all concerned.”

People have been evacuated from both Rochford Hundred Golf Club and Westcliff Rugby Club due to their proximity to the accident site.
