Benghazi in Libya will be a good place to see this solar eclipse. Libyan skies will be dark for five minutes. Egypt’s historic city of Luxor will be in pitch dark for six minutes. Italy’s Lampedusa island will be almost completely covered.
Jeddah and Mecca in Saudi Arabia, Yemen and parts of Somalia will be the last places to see the eclipse. Indians will not be able to see this big event in the history of astronomy. The solar eclipse of August 2027 will not be visible in India and nearby countries.
