What is the story of ‘Dhadak 2’?
The hero of the story of ‘Dhadak 2’ is Nilesh Ahirwar (Siddhant Chaturvedi) who grew up in the Dalit colony of the city. Nilesh, who has been facing injustice due to his caste since childhood, wants to become a lawyer to fulfill his mother’s dream.
Vidhi Bhardwaj ( Tripti Dimri ) comes from a Brahmin family in which advocacy has been running in the blood for the last three generations and she too wants to become a lawyer by carrying forward this tradition. Both of them first meet at a wedding where Nilesh has come to play drums with the boys of his colony. This is where the two have their first interaction which turns into a love affair after reaching the Law University.

The first villain of this love story is Vidhi’s cousin Ronnie (Saad Bilgrami) who firmly believes in the chronology of caste and is a classmate of Vidhi and Nilesh in the law university. He starts insulting Nilesh in various ways for his caste. But in reality, Nilesh has faced so much discrimination and insults since childhood due to caste that he has forgotten how to fight.
This story also has a psycho type killer Shankar (Saurabh Sachdeva) who kills lovers who fall in love by breaking the walls of caste. He has his own background story in which he killed his sister for loving a Dalit boy. The so-called upper caste people take the help of Shankar to save their ‘honor’ . Shankar does not take money for this work because he considers it a ‘dharma kaam’. There comes a point when Vidhi’s family takes Shankar’s help. Will Nilesh be able to fight for his love now?
