835 New Adarsha Bidyalaya Open In Odisha : It was informed from the meeting that 835 model schools will be built in the first phase. These schools will work as feeder schools for the high schools of the state. An expenditure of up to Rs. 7 crore has been estimated for each school.
Schools with more than 100 students, more than 2 acres of land available, and classes from nursery to class 8 will be built as Godavarish Mishra Model Primary Schools. The Chief Minister said in the meeting that one model school will be built at each Gram Panchayat headquarters, keeping in mind its geographical location.
The Chief Minister said that free transport facilities should be provided to children living in remote and remote areas. Schools with sufficient land will be selected and improved for upgrading to high school level in the future.
