John Abraham Wrote To CJI Against The Stray Dog Removal Order: The Supreme Court gave such a decision on stray dogs that, along with common people, Bollywood stars have also stood against the court. Actually, due to the increasing attacks of stray dogs and the increase in the number of deaths due to rabies, the Supreme Court ordered the authorities to keep these dogs in shelter homes.
After this decision of the Supreme Court, a debate started on social media, and many Bollywood celebrities stood against this decision and supported stray dogs.
John wrote a letter to the CJI
Bollywood actor John Abraham wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India, B R Gavai, and demanded a change in the order of the Supreme Court. He wrote, ‘I hope you will agree that these are not stray dogs but community dogs. People respect them, feed them. John said that according to the rules of animal birth control, dogs are not kept in shelter homes. Rather, they are vaccinated and left in the same areas.
The actor wrote while giving a solution to this problem, ‘The ABC rule is adopted in many cities, and Delhi can also do the same. During sterilization, dogs are given rabies vaccine, after which the incidence of biting decreases.
Raveena Tandon expressed protest against Stray Dog Removal Order
Actress Raveena Tandon has also strongly criticized this decision of the Supreme Court; she has called it a step taken without thinking. Raveena said that this decision can endanger the lives of both vaccinated and unvaccinated dogs, as well as sick and healthy dogs, because there is talk of keeping them together. This earth is for all animals, but humans are becoming selfish. Instead of finding a real solution, animals are being targeted.
Apart from these, celebs like Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Vir Das have also opposed this order of the Supreme Court. Let us tell you that the Supreme Court has ordered the authorities to build a shelter home for more than 5000 dogs.
