Kindergarten To Class VIII All Student Will Get Money Along With Rice ,Odisha Government Announcement : The state government has taken a new step to attract children to government schools. In order to prevent the dropout rate in the state and to provide school facilities to children, the Public Education Department will provide free uniforms to the students of Sishu Batika. Children enrolled in Sishu Batika in 45,000 primary schools of the state will be provided with uniforms and other equipment free of cost. For this, an expenditure of Rs 1,000 will be incurred per child. The state government will bear all the expenses required for this, School and Public Education Minister Nirbhagand Gand informed on Tuesday.

another announcement -All the students from kindergarten to class VIII in the state will be given 11 days of rice and cooking money. The head teachers will immediately distribute it to the children and inform the government. The School and Mass Education Department on Tuesday asked the District Education Officer and the District Magistrate to pay attention to this.
The government had expressed its readiness to take this up after complaints were received that children were not getting mid-day meals during the summer vacation from April 23 to May 5.

Mid-day Meal State Regional Officer Bhavani Prasad Mishra sought information from the district level. Based on this, the government has been instructed to give 11 days of rice and cooking money to the students. In this regard, the Mid-day Meal State Regional Officer has written a letter to all the District Magistrates.

The head teachers will distribute the rice in the presence of the school management committee members. Similarly, the money for cooking supplies will be paid through DBT mode to the bank accounts of the students or their guardians.
