Heavy Rain Alert These States For Next 6 Days: IMD Said: According to the Meteorological Department, rain activities are likely to increase on the west coast from 26 August 2025. IT may occur at some places in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh during the next 7 days. There is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana from 25 to 26 August. It may rain in many parts of Rajasthan from 25 to 27 August.

There is a possibility of rain in Punjab from 25 to 26 August, while it may rain again on 29 and 30 August. There may be rain in some places in Uttar Pradesh on 25, 29, and 30 August. Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur at many places with thunderstorms and lightning in the western Himalayan region in the next 7 days and in the plains in the next 3 days. After this, sporadic rain is expected to continue in the next 4 days.

Apart from Madhya Pradesh, in Chhattisgarh, it will rain here

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rains are likely in some areas of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Odisha during the next 6-7 days. There may be rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 25, 29, and 30 August. It may rain in some parts of Bihar on 25 and 30 August. There is a possibility of rain in Jharkhand on 25, 28, and 29 August. There is also a possibility of rain in Vidarbha between 28 and 30 August. Heavy rains are expected in some areas of Odisha on August 25 and 26.

Apart from Konkan and Goa, it will rain here

According to the department, heavy to very heavy rains are likely to continue in Gujarat during the next 7 days. Heavy rains are likely in Konkan and Goa from 25 to 30 August. Heavy rains may occur in Central Maharashtra between 27 and 30 August. Very heavy rains are expected in Konkan and Goa on 28 August. Heavy rains may occur in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam on 25 and 26 August. Heavy rains are likely in coastal Karnataka between August 27 and 29.
