Rajasthan man files case against Hyundai, Deepika Padukone, SRK over defective car

FIR Filed Against Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone Over Faulty Hyundai Alcazar: An FIR has been filed against Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actress Deepika Padukone in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. It is alleged that both actors are branding defective vehicles. The complaint also includes the names of Hyundai company’s managing director, Anso Kim, whole whole-time director and COO Tarun Garg, and the showroom owners. This entire matter is related to the Hyundai Alcazar.

Court order on the petition of a Rajasthan lawyer

On the petition of Bharatpur resident lawyer Kirti Singh, the court ordered to registration of an FIR. After the case was registered at the Mathura Gate police station, the police have started an investigation. Kirti Singh says that he bought a car in June 2022 at a price of Rs 23.97 lakh. For this vehicle, he took a loan from HDB Financial Services and paid the remaining amount in cash. On June 14, 2022, the company delivered the car.
It does not pick up when overtaking Alcazar

The lawyer alleges that while overtaking on the highway, the car does not pick up, only the RPM increases, and the odometer shows signs of malfunction. After seven months, the technical problems in the car increased further.

Hyundai’s reply – manufacturing defect

According to the complainant, the agency told him that this problem is a manufacturing defect and no permanent solution is possible. He was advised that in case of any problem, the car should be parked in a safe zone and driven at 2000 rpm for an hour, then the sign of the engine management system malfunction will go away.

Bollywood stars who did advertisements and promotions are also accused

Kirti Singh said in the FIR that Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are equally accused as the company representatives. ASI Radha Kishan of Mathura Gate police station has confirmed that a case has been registered regarding the car’s malfunction, and an investigation is underway.
