RCB Announce Rs 25 Lakh Aid For Stampede Victims’ Families: The RCB team won the IPL 2025 title by defeating the Punjab Kings. After this, an event was organized at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru to celebrate winning the trophy, in which a lot of cricket fans gathered, and there was a stampede. Due to this, 11 people lost their lives. Now the RCB team has announced compensation for the families of those who lost their lives in the stampede.
RCB provided financial help to the families of those who lost their lives
RCB posted on the social media platform X, which reads that on 4 June 2025, we were heartbroken. We lost 11 members of the RCB family who were a part of us. Their absence will resonate in the memories of all of us. No support can ever fill the space left by them. But as a first step and with deep respect, RCB has given an amount of โน 25-25 lakh to their families. Not just as financial help, but as a promise of unity and continued care. RCB has said that this is also the beginning of RCB Cares. More information about this will be given later.
Women’s World Cup matches shifted from the Mumbai ground
After the stampede, the Karnataka government had constituted the D’Cunha Commission. After this, the commission had stated in its report that Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium is unsafe for big events. After this, the matches of the Women’s World Cup 2025 to be held in Bengaluru were shifted to another place. Now the matches will be played at the ground in Navi Mumbai.
RCB won the title for the first time
