Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar Will Stay At Abhay Chautala’s House: Six weeks after resigning from the post, former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar moved from his official residence to a private farmhouse in the Chhatarpur area of ​​​​South Delhi. This farmhouse, located in the Gadaipur area of ​​​​Chhatarpur, belongs to INLD (Indian National Lok Dal) leader Abhay Chautala.

Jagdeep Dhankhar: Former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will stay in this private farmhouse under an interim arrangement till he is allotted a Type-8 government residence, which he is entitled to as a former Vice President. Dhankhar resigned from his post on July 21, the first day of the monsoon session of Parliament, citing health reasons, and has been away from public eyes since then. He was still living in the Vice President’s Enclave near Parliament House.

Dhankhar is spending his time in table tennis and yoga

Sources close to former Vice President Dhankhar said that he is spending time with his family, playing table tennis, and practicing yoga.

Elections to select Dhankhar’s successor on September 9

The election to select Dhankhar’s successor is scheduled for September 9. In the Vice Presidential election, National Democratic Alliance candidate and Maharashtra Governor CP Radhakrishnan is pitted against opposition candidate and former Supreme Court judge B Sudarshan Reddy. Dhankhar’s term as Vice President was to end on August 10, 2027.
