Actor Deepika Padukone baked a homemade chocolate cake to celebrate daughter Dua’s first birthday. Sharing the sweet moment on Instagram, the actor gave fans a glimpse of her love-filled celebration with husband Ranveer Singh and their little one.
Padukone appeared to have made a late post, since Dua was born on September 8 last year. The photo featured a delicious looking chocolate crumble cake placed on a table decorated with flower and a blue candle. The caption on the post read, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday (sic).”

The Couple The two, who tied the knot in November 2018, welcomed their first child last year. The couple has so far been careful not to reveal their baby girl’s face to the media. A few videos, however, were recently leaked on social media featuring the first glimpse of Dua from afar, but were immediately pulled down, considering the parents’ request for privacy.

For the unversed, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh hosted a meet-and-greet for the paparazzi after the birth of their daughter, with two purposes: one to let them meet their little one, and the second was to request them not to breach their privacy. Well, the paps later revealed what Deepika and Ranveer’s daughter looked like. According to Yogen Shah, when Deepika brought her daughter to meet them, the little one was asleep. The photographer also shared that her facial features were an amalgamation of both her parents’, and when she fluttered open her eyes, it reflected beauty and innocence.
