India defeat UAE by 9 wickets

India started their Asia Cup campaign here with a 9-wicket win over UAE. The bowlers gave India this big win. After the bowling force led by Kuldeep Yadav restricted UAE to just 57 runs, India won in just 4.3 overs thanks to the explosive batting of Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill. This is India’s fastest Twenty20 victory in terms of overs. By winning in 93 balls, the Indian team also surpassed the victory achieved against Scotland in Dubai in 2021 (in 81 balls). Abhishek’s huge six off the first ball of the Indian chase was quite spectacular. Kuldeep, who played a key role in the victory, was considered the best player of the match.
