Similipal Wildlife Sanctuary has been opened
Similipal Wildlife Sanctuary in Mayurbhanj district has been opened for tourists from today. On the first day, a total of 129 tourists entered Similipal through both Pintabata and Yashipur gates in 33 vehicles. According to information, 35 tourists entered through Pintabata gate in 8 open jeep safaris, 40 tourists entered in 12 tourist vehicles daily, while 18 tourists entered through Yashipur gate in 3 open jeep safaris, 36 tourists entered in 10 tourist vehicles daily.
Tourists started entering from 6 am, while many senior officials including RCCF Prakash Chand Gogineni, STR Samrat Gowda were present to welcome the tourists. However, it is reported that no foreign tourists came on the first day today. It is worth noting that Similipal was opened before Kali Puja. You can enter Similipal with a permit between 6 am and 9 am.
