According to the official notice on jeemain.nta.nic.in, Session 1 will be conducted from January 21 to 30, 2026, while Session 2 is scheduled from April 1 to 10, 2026. The exam will be held at designated centers across the country, strictly adhering to NTA guidelines.
As per the announcement, registration for Session 1 will begin in October 2025, while Session 2 registrations will start in the last week of January 2026. The Ministry of Education has reconstituted the JEE Apex Board (JAB) to oversee the exam. Although there are media reports suggesting possible changes in the syllabus, no official confirmation has been provided yet.
Students planning to apply can visit the official website and follow a simple registration process involving form filling, document upload, and fee payment. JEE Main scores are used for admission into NITs, and top scorers can advance to JEE Advanced for a chance at securing admission in IITs.
