Torrential rains have once again wreaked havoc in the central provinces of Vietnam, causing severe flooding and widespread destruction. According to the Vietnam Disaster and Dam Management Authority, at least 13 people have lost their lives in the recent floods, while 34 others have been injured. Many of the injured are being treated in hospitals, and authorities are continuing efforts to reach affected areas despite ongoing heavy rains.

Rescue operations remain challenging as 11 people are still reported missing in the flood-hit regions.
