Subhadra portal to reopen from today: These people can apply
Subhadra Portal Reopens Today; Women Aged 21–60 Can Apply from Tomorrow: The Subhadra portal, which had been closed for a long time, is set to reopen from today, Deputy Chief Minister Parvathi Parida announced. Women who could not apply earlier because they were underage can now apply from tomorrow. Those who have turned 21 years old by March 31, 2025, are eligible to join the Subhadra Yojana, a government welfare scheme for women.
If new applicants are found eligible, they will receive their Subhadra installment on March 8. However, due to the Model Code of Conduct being in force for the Nuapada by-election, the portal will not be opened in that district. For the financial year 2025–26, women must be between 21 and 60 years of age as of April 1, 2025, meaning applicants’ dates of birth should fall between April 2, 1965, and April 1, 2004.
The government has clarified that students receiving scholarships or financial aid of ₹18,000 or more from the state or central government will not be eligible for the Subhadra scheme. Those already benefiting from other government assistance programs above this limit will be excluded to ensure fair distribution of support.
