Gold Rates Up After Two Days; 24-Carat Gold at ₹1,23,170, Silver at ₹1,680
Gold and Silver Prices Rise Again After Two Days of Decline: After a two-day decline, gold and silver prices have started rising again in the Indian market today. The price of 24-carat gold has increased by ₹17 per gram, 22-carat by ₹15 per gram, and 18-carat by ₹13 per gram.
In Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold is now priced at ₹1,23,170 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stands at ₹1,12,900 per 10 grams. Similarly, the price of 18-carat gold has reached ₹92,380 per 10 grams, reflecting a steady upward movement in precious metal rates.
The price of silver has also seen a marginal rise of ₹20 per 10 grams, bringing it to ₹1,680. Market experts attribute this increase to fluctuations in global bullion markets and festive demand in domestic markets.
For customers wishing to verify the authenticity and purity of gold jewellery, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) recommends using the ‘BIS Care’ mobile app, which allows users to check hallmark details and lodge complaints related to gold purity.
