Bihar Asembly Election: Delhi CM On Rahul Gandhi
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta On Rahul Gandhi: The people of Bihar have understood that the state’s development is only possible under the leadership of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), said Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. She accused the Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of looting and misleading the people for years.
Speaking to reporters, She said that the people of Bihar, especially women, know that development is possible only under the NDA’s.
“The people of Bihar, the women, everyone is alert”: The Delhi Chief Minister said, “The people of Bihar, the women, everyone is alert; they know that Bihar’s development is possible only under the NDA’s rule… These “Panjewale’ and ‘lanternwale’ parties have always looted Bihar and left the people in distress, so the people of Bihar will not be fooled by their words.”
Addressing a public meeting in Patna, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said that Bihar has now understood Rahul Gandhi’s “tricks” and he will not be able to catch “Bihar’s fish.” She said, “Congress people who used to go to the fields wearing socks are now jumping into ponds to catch fish. I want to tell Rahul ji that this is Bihar’s fish, you won’t be able to catch it. Every person in Bihar has now understood your tricks.”
The Delhi Chief Minister further said that, Congress and RJD leaders “ruled Bihar for years,” becoming rich themselves, while the people remained poor. She said, “These people ruled the land of Bihar for years. Sometimes Congress, sometimes RJD. They themselves grew rich, but the common people of Bihar remained poor… Bihar saw progress during the tenure of Nitish Kumar and PM Narendra Modi.”
According to a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), the Chief Minister will campaign in support of NDA candidates in Bihar over the next three days. She will be accompanied by senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders, leaders of allied parties, as well as party candidates and workers. Apart from public meetings, the Chief Minister will also participate in road shows.
Voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly is scheduled to be held in two phases on November 6 and November 11, while the counting of votes will take place on November 14.
