Make ‘chicken posto’ dish in your chhadakhai

We make various chicken recipes at home. But today all Odias are celebrating the nonveg day ‘chhadakhai’ day. So, we are going to talk about a delicious chicken recipe. The name of this recipe is ‘Chicken Post’. So let’s know how to prepare it.

Ingredients required: Chicken, poppy seeds, cumin,  mustard paste, onion paste, chopped onion, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, oil, tomato, garlic and ginger paste, chili powder, coriander powder, red pepper powder, coriander leaves, bay leaves, salt, green chilies, and lemon.

Preparation method:

First, wash the chicken well and add poppy seeds, ginger-garlic-cumin-mustard paste, and mix it.

Then add ginger-garlic-onion paste and mix it well.

Then add finely chopped onion, turmeric, cumin, coriander and chilli powder.

Then add crushed garlic, chopped tomato, bell pepper, coriander leaves, and salt to taste, and mix it well.

Now cover it and keep it for some time. Then heat oil in a clay pot and add finely chopped whole green chillies, chopped onion, and coriander leaves, and mix well.

Then add the marinated chicken in the mixture and mix it well.

Then cover the clay pot and let the chicken cook.

Remove the cover every five to ten minutes and stir the chicken well, otherwise the chicken may stick to the clay pot.

After about half an hour, when the chicken is cooked, add the coriander leaves and remove the pot from the stove.

Chicken Posto is now ready. This recipe tastes mouthwatering with both rice and roti.
