Subhman Gill admitted to hospital

Team India suffered a big setback in the first Test between India and South Africa in Kolkata. Captain Shubman Gill has been admitted to the hospital due to an injury. He was injured while batting on the second day of the match. He felt the pain while playing a sweep shot off the ball of South African spinner Simon Harmer.

Later, he returned to the pavilion with a broken leg. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Kolkata. As a result, there are doubts about his ability to play the second Test.

He is undergoing treatment in the ICU of the hospital. He has undergone a scan and MRI test there. Rishabh Pant is leading the team in Gill’s absence.
