“Nitish Kumar Set for 10th Oath as Bihar CM; Ceremony on Nov 19-20”
Bihar NDA Govt 2.0: Nitish Kumar Swearing-In Nov 19-20!: Nitish Kumar is set to be sworn in as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the 10th time on November 20, with the oath-taking ceremony scheduled at the historic Gandhi Maidan in Patna. The venue has been chosen to accommodate the massive public turnout, but the Maidan will remain closed to common visitors until the ceremony. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the event along with top NDA leaders.
The ceremony will see Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister, and selected ministers taking their oaths in front of the assembled NDA leadership. Gandhi Maidan has previously hosted Nitish Kumar’s oath-taking in 2015, making it a symbolic venue for this historic event.
The recent BJP-JDU-LJP-HAM alliance has achieved a landslide victory in the Bihar Assembly elections, winning 202 out of 243 seats. BJP emerged as the single largest party, winning 89 of the 101 seats it contested, while JDU won 85 seats. In contrast, the Grand Alliance could secure only 40 seats, with RJD winning 25 and Congress 6.
With this decisive mandate, the NDA is poised to form the Bihar government once again, solidifying Nitish Kumar’s position as one of the state’s longest-serving Chief Ministers. The upcoming ceremony at Gandhi Maidan is expected to be a grand event marking the continuation of NDA governance in Bihar.
