Smriti Mandhana–Palash Muchhal Wedding Postponed After Family Health Emergency; Viral Chats Fuel Online Speculation

Palash Muchhal Faces Cheating Rumours as Alleged Chats Spread Online Before Wedding Delay: Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and singer-composer Palash Muchhal, who were set to marry on November 23, have postponed their wedding following a sudden health crisis in the family. The announcement has led to widespread speculation online, although neither Mandhana nor Muchhal has issued any official comment addressing the rumours.

According to family sources, the wedding was delayed after Smriti Mandhana’s father suffered a heart attack just hours before the ceremony. His condition reportedly deteriorated, leading to immediate hospitalization. Palash Muchhal’s mother also confirmed that the singer was under immense mental stress during the incident, and he too had to be admitted to a hospital due to health-related complications. Considering the circumstances, both families mutually decided to postpone the wedding.

Viral Chats Add to Tension Online
Not long after the postponement, alleged screenshots of personal chats began circulating across social media platforms. These unverified messages claimed that Palash Muchhal had conversed with a choreographer during pre-wedding events, and another account alleged he had exchanged flirty chats with a woman. The screenshots, posted by an unidentified user, have since been deleted.

The authenticity of these chats remains unconfirmed, and many users have questioned their credibility. Despite the lack of verification, the content has spread rapidly online. Both Smriti and Palash have chosen not to comment on the claims, maintaining silence amid the growing speculation.

Smriti Deletes Wedding-Related Posts
Amid the developments, Smriti Mandhana removed all wedding-related content from her Instagram account. This included her engagement announcement, proposal video, and photos from the haldi and sangeet ceremonies. However, she has not deleted older posts featuring Palash, which has further intensified ongoing speculation among fans and followers.

Family Appeals for Privacy
Palash’s manager informed the media that the family’s primary focus is on the health of Smriti’s father, emphasizing that the wedding has been postponed solely for this reason. Palash’s sister, singer Palak Muchhal, also confirmed the postponement through an Instagram story and urged the public to respect the privacy of both families during this difficult time.

As of now, no new wedding date has been announced. Both families have asked fans to refrain from spreading unverified information and to prioritize compassion and privacy.
