T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule Announcement: India and Pakistan will face off for the ninth team in the T20 World Cup on February 15, 2026, in Colombo.
The two traditional rivals India and Pakistan will face each other next February. The ICC today released the complete schedule for the 2026 T20 World Cup. In which India and Pakistan are in the same group. The T20 match will be played between India and Pakistan on February 15. The T20 World Cup will be played for a month from February 7 to March 8. 20 countries will participate in this cricketing mega event. A total of 55 matches will be played. Both India and Sri Lanka are hosting this World Cup jointly.
The India-Pakistan mega clash will be held at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The 20 teams have been divided into 4 groups. Group ‘A’ includes India, Pakistan, USA, Netherlands and Namibia. There will be 2 semi-final matches in this World Cup. The first semi-final will be played in Kolkata on March 4, the second semi-final in Mumbai on March 5 and the final match in Ahmedabad on March 8. Importantly, Rohit Sharma has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the 2026 T20 World Cup.
