Two cyclones are ravaging two countries. Senyar cyclone has already devastated Indonesia. Cyclone Ditwa has devastated Sri Lanka. Nearly 300 people have died. The death toll from floods and landslides in Indonesia has reached nearly 200.

The Indonesian island of Sumatra has been hit hard by Typhoon Senair. Heavy rains have caused severe flooding and landslides. About 80 people are still missing. Bridges have been destroyed and roads have been washed away in many places. Hundreds of deaths have been reported in North Sumatra alone.

Meanwhile, more than 80 people have died in Sri Lanka due to Cyclone Ditwa. Many more people are missing. The number of missing is reported to be more than 30. Cyclone Ditwa has caused widespread devastation in Sri Lanka. Roads have been submerged, bridges have been broken. More than 500 mm of rain has fallen in a day. Central Sri Lanka has been particularly affected. Severe landslides have occurred in the hilly areas.
