LPG Price Revision for December 1: No Change in Domestic Cylinder Rates: As the new month begins, LPG price revisions have brought mixed news for consumers. While domestic LPG cylinder prices remain unchanged, commercial LPG cylinder rates have been reduced by ₹10, offering slight relief to businesses and commercial users.

According to the latest price notification, the cost of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in major cities has been reduced as follows:

  • Delhi: Reduced from ₹1,590.50 to ₹1,580
  • Kolkata: Reduced from ₹1,694 to ₹1,684
  • Mumbai: Reduced from ₹1,542 to ₹1,531.50
  • Chennai: Reduced from ₹1,750 to ₹1,739.50

Despite these reductions, the price of domestic LPG cylinders (14.2 kg) remains unchanged. Consumers will continue to pay the same rates as last month:

  • Delhi: ₹853
  • Mumbai: ₹852.50
  • Lucknow: ₹890.50
  • Kargil: ₹985.50
  • Pulwama: ₹969
  • Bageshwar: ₹890.50

Notably, domestic LPG prices also remained unchanged in November. Earlier in April, domestic LPG saw a significant price hike of ₹50 per cylinder, affecting households across the country.

India’s major oil marketing companies—Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)—revise the prices of LPG and aviation turbine fuel (ATF) on the first day of every month. These revisions are based on international benchmark fuel prices and prevailing exchange rates.

With domestic LPG rates stable and commercial cylinder prices lowered, consumers and businesses can expect slight relief as December begins.
