Name Changes : Now PMO Will Be Known As Sevatirtha

The name of the Prime Minister’s Office has been changed. Now it will be known as Seva Tirtha. The aim is to promote the spirit of service in governance. This change is not the only one, many government buildings and roads in the country will be renamed in a few days.

Similarly, the Central Secretariat has also been renamed. Now the name of the Central Secretariat will be known as Bhishtah Bhawan. According to the government, this change is not just limited to the name, but also sends a message that the government is dedicated to serving the people. This change reflects a new concept of governance priorities.

Raj Bhavans across the country have been renamed Lok Bhavans.
