Barabati Big Fight Today

The first T20 match between India and South Africa will be played at 7 pm. The first match of the 5-match series will start from Barabati. The home team, after losing the Test series 0-2, has maintained its respect by winning the one-day series 2-1. Now, with a new series and a new challenge, the Surya Sena is believed to dominate this short format. India has played both the Twenty20 matches held at Barabati against South Africa and has lost both times. India will try to break this streak.

On the other hand, visiting South Africa will be looking to avenge their defeat in the final of the T20 World Cup last year with a series win. Captain Suryakumar Yadav is also happy with the presence of all-rounder Hardik Pandya and vice-captain Shubman Gill, who returned to the Indian team after injury problems. Suryakumar Yadav’s individual form, however, remains the only concern for the team.

Meanwhile, there is a lot of talk about the Barabati pitch this time. Since this is the first international match after the pitch was prepared on red soil, a fierce battle can be seen. Usually, the pitch prepared on red soil gives more pace and bounce and gives a chance to the spinners in the late part of the innings. But such a pitch is being relied upon in the hope of maintaining a balance between the two teams in the match. Meanwhile, security arrangements have been tightened in the twin cities for the Barabati match. A total of 70 platoon forces have been deployed for the match. Meanwhile, special arrangements have been made for bus movement.
