Box Office Clash: ‘Dhurandhar’ Unstoppable, ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ Fades Away
200 Crore in Sight for ‘Dhurandhar’ as ‘Tere Ishq Mein’ Struggles to Stay Afloat: The box office continues to be dominated by Dhurandhar, which has emerged as the biggest crowd-puller of the season. While several new releases have come and gone, the Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and R. Madhavan starrer remains unstoppable, winning both audience appreciation and critical acclaim.
The film, which opened strongly with ₹28 crore, maintained excellent momentum through the weekend, collecting a massive ₹75 crore on Saturday and Sunday. By the end of its first three days, Dhurandhar had already crossed the ₹100 crore milestone. Its pace didn’t slow down during the weekdays either—touching ₹150 crore within five days.
On Wednesday, the sixth day, Dhurandhar added another impressive ₹26.50 crore to its earnings. Early Thursday trends indicated an additional ₹5 lakh by morning, bringing its total six-day collection to ₹179.80 crore. With this trajectory, industry experts expect the film to comfortably breach the ₹200 crore mark by the end of the day.
Meanwhile, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon’s romantic drama Tere Ishq Mein continues its theatrical run but has begun to show signs of fatigue. Despite competition from Dhurandhar, the film held steady for nearly two weeks and even crossed the ₹100 crore mark.
- Tere Ishq Mein* opened with a solid ₹16 crore and stood strong in its first week with total earnings of ₹83.65 crore. However, in its second week, collections have started to dip. On Wednesday, the film brought in just ₹1.85 crore on its 13th day, pushing its overall total to ₹107 crore.
With Dhurandhar surging toward new box-office records and Tere Ishq Mein slowing down, the weekend ahead will be crucial in determining how far each film ultimately climbs.
