In the match played between Mumbai Indians, two players of Delhi Capitals who were fielding collided badly with each other. This collision scared everyone and both the players had to leave the field. Due to this, Delhi had to field two new players for fielding.

On Sunday, April 13, Mumbai team was batting first in the 29th match of IPL 2025. Tilak Verma was batting strongly for the team. At the same time, Naman Dheer was also putting in his best to support him. Both of them were creating problems for Delhi and then a disaster struck the team. It was the 19th over, when Mohit Sharma was bowling. Tilak Verma played a shot on the third ball of his over and due to this shot, 2 players of Delhi collided.

Tilak’s shot lacked power and the ball bounced in the air. There was a chance for a catch and to grab this opportunity Mukesh Kumar ran from short third man and Ashutosh Sharma from backward point. But both of them did not see each other and in the process they collided violently. Both their heads collided and their entire bodies collided with each other. The catch was not made but after the collision Mukesh and Ashutosh fell on the ground. Meanwhile Mumbai batsmen completed 3 runs.
Had to be taken off the field
The medical team of Delhi Capitals immediately rushed to the field, where they examined both of them. To ensure that the match is not interrupted for long and the injured players are properly examined, Ashutosh and Mukesh were taken out of the field. Due to this, Delhi had to field two substitute players. However, the relief was that the injuries of both were not very serious. Mukesh even returned to the field to bowl the last over of the innings and returned with a wicket in this over.
