How was Aamir Khan’s mother cast?
Recently, while talking to the media, Aamir Khan said that there was no plan for his mother to come in the film ‘Sitare Zameen Par’. He said, ‘Usually Ammi doesn’t say that she wants to come to my shoot. So I don’t know what she felt, but on the morning of the song shoot, Ammi called and asked, ‘Where are you shooting? Humko bhi aana hai aana shooting par aaj’. After this, the actor said, ‘So, I said come on.’ I sent a car for her, and my sister brought her to the shoot; she came in a wheelchair. It was a happy wedding song and we were enjoying its show while she was watching us.’
The actor’s mother will be seen in the song of the film
Aamir Khan further told in the conversation that director RS Prasanna had requested him to include his mother in it as a cameo. The actor said, ‘Prasanna came to me and said, ‘Sir, if you don’t mind, can you request to include Ammi ji in the shot? This is the last song of the film, which is a wedding ceremony scene. She could easily be one of the guests. It is an emotional thing for me, I want her to be a part of the film.’

The actor said that he was shocked by the director’s reaction. Then Aamir Khan told, ‘I told him, ‘Have you gone mad? I will not have the courage to talk to Ammi for the film or ask her to give a shot, she is very stubborn.’ But when I finally asked her, she said, ‘Yes, okay.’ I was shocked. So, she is in one or two shots. This is the only film of mine that she has been a part of.’ Along with this, the actor told that his sister Nikhat Khan will also be seen for some time in the film, who is already an actress.
