Milk and Dairy Prices Drop: Butter, Ghee, Cheese Now Cheaper

Among the key items, Amul Taza Toned Milk (1L) will now cost ₹75 instead of ₹77, and Amul Gold (1L) has been reduced from ₹83 to ₹80. Amul Butter (100g) will be sold at ₹58 instead of ₹62, while a 500g pack will cost ₹285, down from ₹305. Ghee prices have also seen a sharp decline — a 1L carton is now ₹610 (down ₹40), and a 5L tin is ₹3,075 (down ₹200). Frozen paneer, processed cheese, cheese cubes, and diced cheese blends have also become cheaper by ₹4 to ₹30 depending on the variant.

Biggest Price Cuts in Ice Cream and Snacks

Ice cream lovers have the most to cheer about. Amul’s Vanilla Magic Tub (1L) now costs ₹135 instead of ₹195 — a massive ₹60 reduction. The popular Kulfi Punjabi (60ml) has dropped from ₹15 to ₹10, while premium flavors like Duetz Gold Mango (60ml) are ₹25 cheaper. Even mini servings like Strawberry Cup (55ml) are now available at just ₹10, down from ₹20. Amul has also reduced prices on dark chocolates, bakery items like butter cookies, sugar-free biscuits, and frozen snacks like French fries, with savings ranging from ₹10 to ₹40.

This sweeping price cut by Amul aligns with its commitment to affordability and consumer well-being, especially as food prices have been a growing concern.
