Andhera Trailer Release Today On Prime Video : The trailer of Prime Video’s series Andhera has been released. Prajakta Koli and Surveen Chawla will be seen in this series releasing on 14th August.
The spine-chilling trailer of Prime Video’s upcoming series ‘Andhera’ was released on Friday. The eight-episode series offers a gripping mix of psychological horror and investigative drama. Set in Mumbai, the series is based on a tense investigation that begins after a young woman goes missing under mysterious circumstances. Inspector Kalpana Kadam (played by Priya Bapat) and Jai (Karanvir Malhotra), a troubled medical student, find themselves in a dark world where reality and nightmares begin to blur. As they delve deeper, they discover shocking secrets and a sinister power lurking in the shadows.

The starcast of the series
The series stars Prajakta Koli, Surveen Chawla, Vatsal Sheth, Parveen Dabas and Pranay Pachauri. It is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Qasim Jagmagia, Mohit Shah and Karan Anshuman under the Excel Entertainment banner. The series is directed by Raghav Dar and written by Gaurav Desai, Raghav Dar, Chintan Sarda and Karan Anshuman. Talking about the series, according to the press note, director Raghav said, ‘Our idea was never to rely on traditional horror tropes but to explore fear in a much more psychological form, something that stems from ambition, guilt and the secrets we bury deep within ourselves. We have created a world where fear arises from the choices people make, where science and the supernatural meet in disturbing ways. At its core, Darkness is about the darkness we often carry unknowingly. And through this series, we wanted to mirror that internal chaos, while also providing an entertaining, thrill ride. It’s scary, yes, but with a purpose, and a beat that feels very real.’
