Avengers Doomsday Teaser Out : The second teaser trailer for Marvel’s new film, “Avengers: Doomsday,” has been released. This time, the focus is on Chris Hemsworth’s character, Thor The “God of Thunder,” Thor, is returning to the MCU. This time, he’s not alone. He has his daughter, whose well-being he cares for.
This new teaser comes a week after the “Doomsday” teaser featuring Chris Evans as Captain America. Thor is concerned for his adopted daughter, Luv. The child was first seen in the 2022 film “Thor: Love and Thunder.” Thor prays for the safety of his daughter, Luv, as he is once again called to battle. In the teaser, Thor prays to his father, Odin.
Thor says in the teaser, “Father, all my life I’ve answered every call. To honor, duty, and war. But now fate has given me something I never asked for. A girl, a life untouched by storm. Give me the All-Father’s strength so I can fight once more, defeat another foe, and return home to her. Not as a warrior, but as warmth. To teach her not war, but peace. The peace I never knew. Please, Father, hear me out.”
Who is Thor’s daughter Luv?
Luv is actually the daughter of the villain Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale). In “Love and Thunder,” Gorr seeks revenge against every god after his pleas to save his dead daughter go unheeded. Ultimately, Gorr abandons his quest for revenge and brings Luv back to life before dying. In his last breaths, Gorr extracts a promise from Thor that he will raise Luv as his own daughter. Luv then joins Thor on his subsequent adventures and wields his Stormbreaker hammer. Luv was played by actor Chris Hemsworth ‘s real-life daughter, India.
