Bihar Elections 2025: Final Phase of Bihar Polling Today, Election Results on November 14: The second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 is underway today, marking the concluding chapter of what has been described as the state’s grand festival of democracy. Polling is being held in 122 assembly constituencies across districts including Gaya, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Bhagalpur, Sitamarhi, Katihar, and East and West Champaran. According to the Election Commission of India, over 3.7 crore voters are eligible to cast their votes in this phase, deciding the fate of 1,302 candidates, including 136 women and one transgender contender.
The first phase, held on November 6, saw an impressive 65 percent voter turnout, reflecting strong public enthusiasm despite tight security arrangements. The Election Commission has deployed additional paramilitary forces across sensitive areas to ensure peaceful voting, while polling stations have been equipped with improved facilities for women, elderly, and differently-abled voters.
Campaigning for the second phase concluded with high-voltage rallies from leaders across major parties. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi led the final push for votes in a fiercely contested race. With both NDA and opposition alliances confident of victory, all eyes are now set on November 14, when the results will decide Bihar’s political future for the next five years.
