Bihar Voting Percentage
Voting is underway on Thursday (November 6) for the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections in 121 constituencies. This time, the state broke the previous record of voting by 5 pm. By 5 pm, the state recorded a voter turnout of 60.13 percent. The previous record for voting in these 121 constituencies was 55.81 percent.
In the 2020 elections, 58.7 percent voting took place in 243 constituencies. In the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, a total of 56.9 percent of voters participated. People are actively participating in the first phase of elections in 18 districts. According to data released by the Election Commission as of 5 pm, Begusarai recorded the highest voter turnout at 67.32 percent. Khagaria recorded 60.65 percent. 64.96 percent of people voted in Gopalganj, 58.38 percent in Darbhanga, 57.58 percent in Nalanda, 55.02 percent in Patna, 53.24 percent in Bhojpur, and 55.10 percent in Buxar.
Apart from this, 65.74 percent voting was recorded in Madhepura, 54.90 percent in Munger, 64.63 percent in Muzaffarpur, 62.76 percent in Lakhisarai, 59.45 percent in Vaishali, 52.36 percent in Sheikhpura, 66.65 percent in Samastipur, 62.65 percent in Saharsa, and 60.90 percent in Saran.
