Tension has increased for BJD before the Nuapada by-election. Because a complaint has been filed in the name of BJD leader Pranab Prakash Das alias Bobby Das and Khariar MLA Indiraraj Panigrahi at the Komna police station. The complainant has filed a written complaint at the police station with a BJP supporter, threatening to kill his friend, a BJD leader, and a friend. In this regard, the police have informed that a case has been registered under sections 296, 351(2), (3), (5), 126(2), 115(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the complainant Jeetu, BJD leaders called Jeetu to the farmhouse of BJD leader Manoj Mishra in Komna. There, BJD leader Bobby Das abused Jeetu in vulgar language. It is alleged that he grabbed Jeetu’s shirt collar and beat him, saying, “We used to be in BJD, why are we in BJP now?” It is also alleged that MLAs Njegaraj Panigrahi and Bobby Das threatened to kill Jeetu and his family.
On the other hand, the investigation into the incident is going on in the election atmosphere. And everyone is watching what action the police will take in this incident. The big thing is that if the case filed against the BJD leader is true, then it will create a big problem for the BJD in the Nuapada elections.
