After this, the Delhi government has issued guidelines and alerted the Medical Directors and Medical Superintendents of all government and private hospitals. Under this, hospitals have also been instructed to increase testing and monitoring.
The government has instructed everyone to wear masks in hospitals so that the spread of infection does not increase. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh said that there is no need for people to panic. The government is ready to deal with the situation. They is engaged in verifying whether the affected patients are residents of Delhi or have returned after travelling from outside. Because of the increasing cases of COVID-19, the state government is on alert mode. Delhi’s health department has also issued an advisory as a precaution. All hospitals have been asked to keep the arrangements for beds, medicines and oxygen in place.
The health department is monitoring the situation and necessary information will be issued to the people on time. In the guidelines issued by the government, it has been asked to keep stock of beds, oxygen beds, antibiotics, other medicines and vaccines in the hospitals. Also, instructions have been given to keep adequate ventilators, oxygen masks, oxygen concentrators and oxygen plants ready.
