CP Radhakrishnan Will Become The 15th Vice President Of India: he results of the Vice Presidential election have been announced. NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan has won this election and with this he is going to become the new Vice President of the country. Rajya Sabha Secretary General PC Modi announced the results of the election.

CP Radhakrishnan got 452 votes in this election. The opposition fielded retired Supreme Court judge B. Sudarshan Reddy against him. Reddy managed to get only 300 votes. The BJP has claimed that there was a lot of cross voting in the election.

Split in the opposition camp?

Senior Congress leader and general secretary in charge of communication Jairam Ramesh had earlier gone to X and claimed that all 315 opposition MPs voted 100 per cent. In such a situation, the question arises that if all 315 opposition MPs actually came and voted, as claimed, and yet how did the Bharat Block candidate get only 300 votes?

This raises an important and inevitable question: did the 15 opposition MPs cross-vote in favour of the NDA candidate? If so, it was not just a voting exercise – it was a tacit breach of unity, indicating internal rifts within the India Bloc even as its leaders publicly present a united front.

In the Vice Presidential election, NDA candidate CP Radhakrishnan was in direct competition with the joint opposition candidate, former Supreme Court Justice B Sudarshan Reddy. On Monday, there was political hustle and bustle in the Parliament premises in both the ruling and opposition camps. In the workshop meeting of the MPs of the ruling NDA alliance, the electoral process and the method of voting were explained.
