Cuttack SCB Medical College will have 17-storey parking
Cuttack SCB Medical College will have 17-storey parking. Rest houses will be built for attendants in 7 medical college campuses of the state. Chief Minister Mohan Majhi said this while reviewing the programs of the state health department. The Chief Minister reviewed various programs of the health and family welfare department at Lok Seva Bhawan.
The meeting discussed the redevelopment work of Cuttack SCB Medical College. The state government has set a target to develop SCB Medical College as a world-class medical college. For this, the meeting discussed the parking facilities required.
A 17-storey multi-level parking facility will be developed in an area of 6.51 acres at SCB Medical College. The parking facility will be used by patients and attendants coming to both SCB and Acharya Harihar Cancer Hospital. The Chief Minister directed the Health Department to prepare the DPR soon.
The meeting discussed the redevelopment of Berhampur and Burla Medical Colleges. The Chief Minister also suggested that the Panikkoyli Trauma Care Centre be made operational on PPP mode at the earliest. The meeting also discussed the construction of rest houses for attendants in the government medical college campuses at Cuttack, Berhampur, Burla, Sundargarh, Koraput, Baripada and Balangir.
